TAYLOR BELLE TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE “FORCE OF FORGETTING” IN CONJUNCTION WITH NEW POETRY BOOK ‘I HOPE MY VOICE DOESN’T SKIP’
NEW YORK, NY – On June 29, 2018 Taylor Belle released a brand new single, “Force of Forgetting” on all major music provides. The single is inspired by a poem from the new book, ‘I Hope My Voice Doesn’t Skip,’ by best-selling New York author, Alicia Cook. Alicia approached Taylor about co-writing the track after hearing her other previous singles “Don’t Waste My Time” and “Another World.” Together, Alicia and Taylor co-wrote “Force of Forgetting,” which was then produced by Joshua Beauchamp.
Taylor and Alicia’s process of writing the song became an outlet to reflect on personal experiences. The lyrics of the fiery, emotion-filled track details the emotional turmoil of a break-up and the aftermath of losing someone who was constantly present. The vulnerability of both writers sympathizes the yearning feeling to be with someone even after a relationship ends.
Taylor performed her new track at the debut reading of ‘I Hope My Voice Doesn’t Skip’ at Quimbys NYC on June 28, 2018. ‘I Hope My Voice Doesn’t Skip’ was released on June 5, 2018 and is available at all major sale provides including Amazon.
